QuasyLab studies formal methods for specifying, analysing and building concurrent and distributed systems. These systems are often large-scale and sometimes cyber-physical. Our work has four strands.
Languages for system behaviour
We design (domain-specific) languages for specifying the behaviour of concurrent and distributed, possibly cyber-physical, large-scale systems.
Logics for system properties
We study formal languages, such as modal and temporal logics, for specifying the qualitative and quantitative properties of these systems.
Tools for analysis
We develop tools that support the analysis of systems specified with our languages and logics.
Applications
We apply our frameworks to support the development of real-life applications.
